Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMechanical company based in Bohemia NY is seeking a Bookkeeper/Admin to assist during a Maternity leave.
This person should have 3 years of Bookkeeping/Payroll experience and wants to continue gaining experience.
The position is paying up to $34/hour and the company wants to hire someone ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Provide clerical and administrative support, including typing, filing, copying, and preparing documents
- Handle Accounts Payable tasks efficiently
- Process Payroll and weekly taxes accurately
- Assist Project Management staff as needed
- Complete administrative tasks with critical thinking and attention to detail
- Ensure timely resolution of issues and follow up on pending matters
- Answer phone calls promptly and courteously
- Display dependability and efficiency in job tasks
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree preferred
- Three or more years of experience in an administrative/bookkeeping role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office application
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Courteous and customer-oriented attitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
