Job DescriptionJob Description

We are currently looking for a fabricator/welder for custom architectural stairs and rails for residences in the DMV area. The job consists of a mix of in-shop fabrication work and installations in the field. This will require the right candidate to be able to understand and fabricate based on shop drawings and other construction documents. Additionally, the right candidate should be able to think creatively and work collaboratively to complete the work necessary. Ideally, we're looking for a team player who can help our company to grow into the future.

At a minimum, the right candidate should be able to read a tape measure, weld (either MIG or stick), and operate machinery such as a cold saw, band saw, and drill press. Ideally, TIG welding and brazing would also be in that skillset. Experience with polishing and chemical blackening (patina) would be a plus. Experience with rigging and erecting structures on jobsites would also be of benefit.

We are a small business, but we take on some of the most interesting and challenging projects. If you're someone who likes to take on a challenge, develop creative solutions, and work on interesting projects, then you'll likely be a good fit here.
