Job DescriptionJob DescriptionUrgent Need- No Interview- Direct Hire- $17/hr (2nd Shift 2PM- 10PM)
- Position: Warehouse Worker
- Pay rate: $ 17
- Location: Cranston, RI,02920
- Duration: 1 Year
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers, as well as collect empty pallet boards and carry them to storage
- Building cardboard boxes
- Pick appropriate cases according to order using required technology
- Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer
- Receive and distribute product and assist in weekly product inventory
- Sorting cardboard by putting them in individual bins, strapping them and rolling the bundles on a 53ft trailer using a dolly
- General housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required (e.g. you may be asked to sweep the floor, help clean a trailer, take out the trash, etc.)
- Lift objects that weigh anywhere between 15 pounds and 50 pounds (i.e. anything from a bowling ball to a twin-size mattress) with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders
- Sorting cartons at case rate; clean outs, load outs of cartons
- Sanitation of carton area
- Service of cartons to crane operator and production
- Carton inventory control, recycling of old cardboard
