Material Handler Job Summary

We are seeking a self-motivated, efficient, and meticulous material handler to join our growing team. As a material handler with our organization, you will be responsible for packaging finished PVC pipe in proper crate quantities for shipment. The ideal candidate for the material handler position is a diligent worker who can complete tasks successfully with little to no guidance. Have previous warehouse experience.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

DAYS - 7AM-7PM / PAY $16.75 per/hr

NIGHTS - 7PM-7AM / PAY $19.75 per/hr

Alternating manufacturing schedule - 3 day week then 4 day week working very other weekend.

Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities

  • confirm product with schedule
  • Assist with Quality Control duties. Monitor saw cuts, pipe length. bell fit, product color.
  • Maintenance and clean-up for production and storage areas
  • Know and follow plant safety rules and wear proper PPE
  • Able to prioritize tasks and anticipate needs in order to effectively manage time in order to accomplish all tasks

Material Handler Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • High school diploma equivalent required
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Pass drug test
  • Pass a background check. No felonies in past 7 years.
  • Be able to work in a non-climate controlled facility
