GEMS  Essential Family Services, LLC is seeking candidates for Behavior Aide positions for our DFCS Contracts (WRAP and Parent Aide).  All work is provided in the home and community, and reliable transportation is required. Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a criminal background check, and have experience working with youth and families.  Candidates must be willing to provide services in a variety of counties in Georgia (including but not limited to: Clayton, Henry, Cobb, Dekalb, Coweta, Fulton, Gwinnett, Rockdale, Newton, Bibb, Peach, Laurens, Liberty, Chatham, Evans).  BIRP format and eCaseNotes experience preferred. Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and possible overnights. All positions are contracted (1099) and reimbursed per billable hour, with most services paying mileage. Subcontractors must provide transportation and supervision to children and/or with their parents ( in the community, home, school, etc). 

Requirements: 

-1 year or more experience working with children or adults in a human services field or 3 years of experience working with individuals in a human service field (i.e. education, psychology, sociology, social work, human services, and criminal justice with a child and adolescent focus).

-Candidates with a high school diploma/GED and 5 years experience working with youth in a human services capacity may also be considered.
