Position Summary: The Strategic Operations Coordinator assumes a pivotal role as the primary support for the Operations Center, responsible for the establishment of a central Operations Center hub. This role encompasses the oversight of day-to-day operations and entails the identification and execution of enhancements to operational processes.

Experience Requirements:

  • Oversees PM assignments, suspenses, and deliverables to ensure maximum service delivery.
  • Manages Monthly Service Reports and flags issues of concern to Ops Team leadership.
  • Assists in developing and fostering relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Analyzes product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
  • Oversee daily management operations.
  • Ensure daily Ops Center notifications center is current and is updated as operations change.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a one-stop, full-service Ops Center.
  • Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.
  • Collaborates with team to problem-solve through ambiguous situations.
  • Will serve as the primary point of contact from external sources.
  • Establish, develop, and implement SOPs and best practices.
  • Manage procurement, travel, and command operation procedures.
  • Develop and implement innovative operations solutions as appropriate.
  • provide administrative support to Business Development as needed.
  • Utilize tacit knowledge of military operations to support Ops Center goals and objectives.
  • Leverages experience in the government sector to support in structuring processes and procedures as they apply to government contracting.
  • Proactively implement process improvements to promote successful mission completion.
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects and/or special assignments to support successful mission completion.
  • Maintain a weekly Operations scorecard and report to leadership utilizing data and metrics accordingly.

Education and Work Requirements:

  • Master's degree required.
  • 7-10 years' experience in military operations
  • 7-10 years' experience in highly tactical and/or corporate operations center development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft teams
  • Proficiency in project management software and/or tools
  • Proven success managing operations center.
  • Proven success in developing Sops
  • Proven success in inventory management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • PMP certification or degree preferred.
  • Prior military experience preferred.
  • Security clearance required. Must be able to attain Security Clearance, if not currently qualified.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Conditions of Employment:

  • May be required to serve a probationary period.
  • An Employment and Financial Interest Statement is required.
  • This position requires a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).

Clearance Required: Yes

Location; Onsite El Paso TX

Travel: 30% required

Physical and Technical Environment:

  • Must be able to lift 10 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
