Position Overview:

We are seeking a Remote Construction Recruiter to join our team on a commission basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruiting for the construction industry and a passion for connecting talented professionals with rewarding career opportunities. As a Remote Construction Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates for various positions within our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our recruitment process and contribute to the growth and success of Triangle Remodeling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and recruit candidates for various positions within the construction industry, including but not limited to carpenters, framers, painters, drywall installers, tile installers, and carpet installers/flooring specialists.
  • Utilize job boards, social media, networking, and other channels to attract top talent.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for specific roles.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and facilitate the selection process.
  • Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records using our ATS (Applicant Tracking System).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring candidates for construction-related positions.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, and interview techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in ATS and other recruitment software/tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with remote recruitment is a plus.
