Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

  • Possesses a keen awareness of wholesale position perspective in design and approach creatives accordingly appropriate to in-house needs and operation
  • Create and manage all company creatives and graphic assets include but not limited to: packages, posters, banners, flyers, catalogs, social media and web related material
  • In-house designer experience or knowledge, including comprehension about creating income-generating creatives with a budget-conscious mind and taking selling points over design
  • Find simple and elegant solutions for complex design problems
  • Attention to detail & file organizing, excellent follow up skills, and team work skills
  • Stay current with latest trends in hair product design as well as related design fields
  • Explore, concept and develop competitor design analysis and offer benchmark designs
  • Help define and improve Midway’s brand presence and adhere to style standards
  • Vendor managing & communication to the project completion

 

Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experiences

  • Design or related Degree & 3 + years of design experience in related field 
  • Proven ability to translate brand identity into digital experience designs
  • Proficiency in industry standard design tools such as Adobe Create Suite
  • Website management
  • WordPress Knowledge a plus
  • Illustration skill a plus – especially in creating icons
  • High-End Photo retouching skills a plus
  • Videography & Video editing skill a plus
  • Coding Knowledge a plus
  • 3D rendering a plus
  • Must be bilingual in English and Korean

  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong collaborator with an excellent communication skill who ensures the success of design and other departments
  • You are flexible, adaptable, and able to change direction if necessary
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently to prioritize duties with minimal supervision
  • Great time management and team work
