Handformer is responsible for the hand forming of sheet metal aluminum parts per Customers engineering drawings and specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform visual inspection of part and traveler.
• Verify specific material call outs on traveler.
• Confirm profile, pilot holes and cut outs are to Customer drawing.
• Verify accuracy of job/workmanship when performing job
• Maintain specifications by observing operations.
• Adhere to all quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Maintain specifications by trouble shooting processes, detecting malfunctions and taking measurements.
• Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for all new and different requests.
• Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum two years' operating a CNC Brake Press and/or Manual brake in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and decipher drawings.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Proficient in blueprint reading
• Knowledge of hand tools and precision measuring tools, such as calipers, protractors, height gages and radius gage sets
• Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented

Hours: Second Shift: Mon. - Thurs., 3 p.m. - 1:30 a.m.
