We are seeking a Low Voltage Gate Technician with 2 years experience to join our team full time This is a full time position , Starting time is generally 7 am but there could be times you may need to be here between 5-6 am.  You will install and repair automated operators, lay conduit and run wires for the operators. Educate our customer to for the what and why .  This is an OUTDOOR position . Must be able to handle the Arizona heat. You will have a cell phone and tablet to  use for you to complete your jobs. We do have a few accounts that need to be secured at all times which may require you to go out after hours to complete the repair. Doesn't happen often but it has happened. You will also need to provide a clean driving record for the past 3 years . Responsibilities:

  • Install and program new operators
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the current operators
  • Identify risk to customers and provide effective solutions
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on automated operator's
  • Monitor inventory of service parts
  • You will be on call for after hours calls
  • You will be responsible for updating notes and pics for every job in the tablet
  • Sales on slow days

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to handle the Heat in the summer
  • Must have a clean driving record as you will be driving a company vehicle
  • Comfortable operating a tablet
