 SUMMARYThe Operations Manager has as its primary responsibility the management of the P&L and oversight of business operations for multiple regional facilities within the company and logistics strategies for a single facility. This role requires strong leadership skills to effectively manage teams, optimize processes, and ensure efficient flow of goods through the supply chain.

Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives to optimize operational efficiency, improve performance, and achieve organizational goals.

Project Management: Overseeing various aspects of operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and successful completion of projects including planning, coordination, risk management, quality control, and budgeting.

P&L Management: Oversee and optimize financial performance by effectively managing revenues, costs, expenses, and profitability. This involves strategic decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation to ensure long-term success.

Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices to enhance operational effectiveness and productivity.

Performance Monitoring: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous improvement efforts.

Team Leadership and Development: Providing leadership, guidance, and support to operational teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicating with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and clients, to provide updates on operational performance, address concerns, and solicit feedback.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee major P&L processes, including receiving, storing, inventory control, and coordination with other markets.
  • Ensure gaming compliance by abiding with Illinois Gaming Board regulations, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to coordinate logistics activities and meet customer demands.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance business performance.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and transportation carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs to measure and track performance, productivity, and accuracy.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize facilities, equipment, and technology to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Salesforce a plus.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler’s License from the Illinois Gaming Board
