This is a cable installer position at school systems. Working in this position will require you to install low-voltage communication cabling along with other types of cabling for audio, security systems, video systems, and more.
Job Duties
•Install low voltage cabling such as Category 6, Category 6A, Sound cabling, fiber optics, etc...
•Install ceiling-mounted devices such as wireless access points, cameras, speakers, and clocks
•Ability to read drawings and prints
•Ability to work on Ladders and scissor lifts
•Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
•Understand Standard Compliant Installations
Prerequisites for application
•Need a Valid driver’s license
•Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (5 panels includes Marijuana) and background investigation
