We're a local growing energy efficiency company, dedicated to excellence in our industry and proud that we are making a difference by improving the environment and reducing utility bills for thousands of residential and commercial customers within the greater Baltimore metro and DC region. We take pride in our work and love what we do, and are looking to hire a licensed journeyman electrician with a strong work ethic for lighting retrofit work and EV charging station installations.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside of teams of electrical technicians in the field on projects pertaining to LED lighting and occasionally EV charging station installations
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment for yourself and the technicians on your team
• Conduct all electrical work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Keep accurate records of work performed for your team and materials used
• Communicate with the project managers about progress of the project and any potential issues
• As needed:
• - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

Experience:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Electrical Apprentice or Journeyperson Electrician (must hold an active electrical journeyman's license at the time of the application)
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work, as well as the safe use of scaffolding and lifts
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications
- Experience working on commercial and industrial electrical projects
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards (OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 strongly preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication (Fluent English a must, Spanish language a plus) and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and schedules

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift (Monday through Thursday)
• 8 hour shift (Monday through Friday)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
