Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate ESL Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English to non-native speakers, focusing on creating engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to varying levels of English proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students with varying levels of English proficiency.
  • Deliver high-quality instruction in both individual and group settings.
  • Assess students’ language abilities and provide constructive feedback.
  • Incorporate multimedia, technology, and interactive methods into teaching.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and curriculum planning.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • TESOL certification (or equivalent) is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching ESL to adults.
  • Strong understanding of language acquisition theories and best practices in ESL instruction.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in classroom technology and educational software.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 hours per week, Monday to Thursday
