AV/Automation Purchasing Agent

Kraus Hi-Tech Home Automation is currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Agent in the NY Metro Area.

Position summary: Manage Inventory for high end Automation projects for a discriminating, affluent clientele.

Qualifications

•Experience of 3 years or more working as a Purchasing Agent

•Experience in the AV/Automation industry a plus

•Must have valid NY driver’s license.

•Must be a team player with ability to take direction and multi task

•Polite with experience working in a customer service environment

•Must be reliable and able to complete task in allotted timeframe

Responsibilities

•Inventory management

•Work with sales/PM and technicians to ensure workflow

•Issuing purchase orders – expedite and redirect as needed, pricing negotiation

•Equipment Receiving – review invoices and approved for payment

•Track back orders, RMA’s, reach out to vendors when needed.

•Forecast inventory needs based on historical, current and future demands

•Evaluate and qualify potential suppliers

•Manage POs and Invoices in QuickBooks

•Equipment staging

•Issuing RFQs

•Coordinate and execute yearly warehouse inventory –

• perform system wide adjustment
• submit inventory for approval

Hours

•8:00am to 4:30pm
