Charlottesville, United States StereoTypes, LLC Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description

PLEASE READ THE JOB description in its entirety before applying

About the Company:

We are a luxury technology, lighting, smart, and media systems firm focused on high-end residential, yacht & hospitality projects. Our offices are located in Charlottesville, VA; Naples, FL and New York City where we dispatch our teams nationally as well as into the Caribbean & Latin American markets.

Our workplace is a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires nimble operations to ensure we deliver the ultimate client-centric experience.

What we are looking for:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, bright-minded, organized, self-motivated individual with great communication skills who has experience managing several projects simultaneously.

Though not a requirement, for those who are interested, the role has the potential to transition into a full-time project management position over the course of the next 6 months.

Additionally, our company encourages entrepreneurial spirit. If you are someone who demonstrates a desire to create their own job opportunities, while at the same time being able to take direction, it is entirely possible to convert to full-time quite quickly for those willing to wear multiple hats and eventually work your way into a new position.

College students as well as retirees and stay-at-home parents who meet the skills & background requirements are encouraged to apply.

Other important facts about the role:

While the position doesn’t require one to live within a certain proximity of our offices, the ideal candidate would be located within 2 hours of our Charlottesville, VA headquarters (VA, DC & WV is where the majority of work is concentrated). That said, for the right candidate, we'd consider making the home office for this position any of the 3 current offices, or future offices.

Though overnight travel is not routine, you must be willing to travel locally within what is deemed to be our regional footprint in a given market (usually within 200 miles). Should you call FL or NY home, based on current project backlog, be prepared for more overnight travel than if you reside in or around Richmond or Charlottesville, VA markets.

Flexible Work Schedule:

This is a part-time, (at least to start), hybrid or in-office (your choice) position, As a newly created position, we are not yet clear on the hours one should expect to work, however, we feel confident it will require a minimum of 15 hours per week, but likely will be 20 - 30 hours per week.

The nature of this position affords a significant amount of flexibility as to the actual shifts being worked. The role will require an average of 1-2 hours per day of time during normal business hours to ensure effective communication among staff, clients, and vendors_ some days more, some days less.  The remaining time required for the position can be completed before or after normal business hours within 15 hours of the previously completed Monday - Thursday, or before 8 AM on Monday.
