Stonewerx Promo is seeking a Graphic Illustrator to join our small hard working team You will create graphics to meet the commercial or promotional needs of our fast growing market. Responsibilities:
- This individual will focus their creative energy in producing all aspects of artwork for our customer's custom designs and logo creation.
Collaborate with sales team to bring the customer’s vision to life for a variety of promotional and recognition products.
Create artwork proofs for customer to review and have the ability to modify artwork as needed to meet customer expectations.
Complete tasks in a timely manner.
Prepare production ready artwork files.
Create eye-catching graphics and engaging designs.
- Handle graphic projects from start to finish.
- Develop and maintain image library files.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and services as needed.
- Understanding of graphic copyright and trademarking issues.
Qualifications:
Must be able to work in our office in Upland, CA
Professional, friendly and ready to learn new things
Outstanding organizational, project management, file-organization and archiving skills
Solid understanding of design, layout, color, and typography
Prior experience within design for Pop Culture products or general interest in Pop Culture a bonus
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) as well as some knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Resourceful, detailed, and goal-oriented
Effective communication/interpersonal skills via email, telephone, computer, and video
Tech-savvy and a problem solver
Simple understanding of production processes
- Self starter with the ability to keep on tasks at hand
- Previous experience in graphic design or other related fields
- Possess graphic design portfolio
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

The Stonewerx Promo Print & DTF Graphics Technician is primarily responsible for pre-press, production of DTF and printed graphics. Pre-press facilitation of the processes and procedures that occur between the creation of a print layout by graphic design and the final printing. Position includes manufacturing, vinyl cutting, digital printing, assembly. When The vinyl department is not busy the employee will be working with the shipping department. Any and all shipping experience is a plus.
How you will do it:
- Possess strong computer skills and confidence in dealing with multiple computer programs, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, VersaWorks, GTX Graphics Lab, NeoStamp and DTF printing software
- Reviews work orders to determine proper setup and operating procedures for digital printers
- Operate plotter to cut vinyl. Cutting substrates to size
- Operate Flatbed printer.
- Operate DTF printer
- Preflight and prep files for print and graphic production
- Prioritize daily workload based on due dates
- Follow up with job orders and provide project status updates as needed.
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and to customer specifications
- Prepare projects for digital printer output
- Must have a keen awareness of basic application materials/substrates (such polyester, cotton,) including temps and pressures.
- Experience working in a Apparel / DTF production shop, specifically vinyl HTV and DTF application using digital printer, plotter, and heat press
- Cut, weed, tape, and apply cut vinyl graphics to substrates with knives and other vinyl-making/installing tools
- Digital Print Finishing- applying materials produced.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to provide technical guidance on optimizing artwork for digital printing, including file formats, resolution, and color profiles
- Conduct color management processes, including color calibration, ink density adjustments, and maintaining color consistency throughout print runs
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and advancements in digital printing technology
- Proofing, cutting, weeding, and application of vinyl and digital prints on small to large format substrates
- Experience running a DTG (Direct to Garment Printer) a plus. you will be trained in the application process.
- A clean driving record
