Firearms Sales / Customer Service

We are looking to hire a friendly, personable Sales Associate and Customer Service Representative for retail firearm sales. Familiarity with firearms and safety protocol is required. Previous sales experience and detailed knowledge of firearms is preferred but not required

This is a part time position, but full-time may become available shortly. Saturdays required.

Primary Duties Include
Greeting and Assisting customers with their product questions and purchases.

Answer phone calls in a courteous and helpful manner.

Checking in Inventory, stocking shelves, and general housekeeping duties.

Handle general housekeeping and organizational duties; dust and clean shelves, sweep/mop floors etc 
Provide courteous and competent customer service to all customers and guests. 

Assist customers in completing firearms transfer forms, and to ensure that the forms and subsequent background check is completed accurately and properly

To perform this job successfully:

An individual should have basic knowledge of computers and how to access information via the internet. Prior experience with a Point of Sale system would be helpful, if not willingness to learn will be essential. Greater experience with computers, social media, or web page maintenance may lead to other computer related duties.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance, and utilize ladders.
