Various CNC Machine/ Machinist positions with several locations. Please review the following job descriptions:

CNC Machinist- Must have 3-5 years of CNC Machining experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with lathes, twin spindles, CNC horizontals
  • Able to read detailed blueprints
  • Run parts to print
  • Understands and has knowledge related to using Fanuc, Okuma and Mitsubishi controls to adjust offsets and change programs
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

CNC Operator 1 - Must have one year of CNC experience

  • Reviews set up sheets and specifications to review operating sequence of machine
  • Loads work pieces into machine in the instruced or directed manor, and unloads finished parts
  • Measures work pieces for conformance to specifications and documents it as required
  • Performs secondary operations as defined by traveler, using various machines/ tools such as files, drill presses and sanders
  • Ensures quality of parts before forwarding them to the next operation/ process
  • Understand and completes all paperwork that is required
  • Cleaning his/her own work area and the general housekeeping of the company

NPI Machinist/ Programmer-

Qualifications:
- 3 or more years CNC setup experience.
- 5 or more years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Mandatory 4th axis machining experience.
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, height gauges and dial indicators.
- Ability to read and interpret GD&T blueprints a must.

- Works from drawings, 3D CAD models, and programs developed by CNC Programmers
- Set up and inspect first article parts.
- Use basic measurement tools to measure parts to customer drawings and 3D CAD model.
- Learn and utilized advanced inspection systems such as Keyence vision system.
- Solve technical machining problems to yield conforming products.

- Work with CNC Programmers to develop sustainable machining programs.
- Work with QC inspectors to troubleshoot nonconforming conditions.
- Establish effective setup procedures, generate work instructions for future production runs.
- Change cutting tools and location of work pieces during machining process.
- Installs cutting tools and various work holding devices to handle the size of stock to be machined.
- Makes necessary adjustments to set-ups during course of operations to maintain accurate production.
- Detects and reports improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions.
- Run multiple CNC machines.
- Utilize manual machines to manufacture parts to drawing and CAD model.
- Ensures quality of parts before forwarding them to next operation/process.
- Responsible for cleanliness of his/her own work area and the general housekeeping of the Company.
- Reports any unsafe conditions to Supervisor/Management/Maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
