Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Part Time Transport Driver who has experience driving a commercial vehicle. Schedule includes Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30-4:00pm. Candidates must have a clean driving record and criminal history. Candidates must be capable of bending and lifting to perform necessary tasks, including loading and unloading clients using wheelchair lifts or stretcher. We are looking for individuals with exceptional customer service and listening skills.

  • Highschool Diploma
  • Clean driving history within the last 3 years
  • Valid Ga drivers license

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-trip inspections on assigned vehicle to ensure that they are in good working order
  • Ascertain that all fluids are up to par, and that tire pressures are properly maintained
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients
  • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
  • Responsible for safely transporting clients to appointments
  • Transport clients utilizing company vehicle in a professional manner
  • Operate vehicle in a safe manner to include parking the vehicle and pulling into/out of temporary loading/unloading areas
  • Assist clients in getting onto the vehicle and safely inside of their respective destination by following all safety guidelines
  • Responsible for completing trip summary documentation and submitting prior to the end of shift
  • Contact clients to communicate expected pick up and drop off times as well as changes to schedule or traffic delays
  • Report any and all incidents or accidents to the supervisor
  • Maintain a professional image and attitude with clients, visitors, and co-workers
  • Operating wheelchair lifts and securing wheelchairs and stretchers in the vehicle
  • Completing daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
  • Adhering to company policies and standard operating procedures
