Job DescriptionJob Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent to join our team. The position requires 5 years of commercial construction experience, along with the ability to plan, manage and execute all aspects of the projects.  Must possess exceptional time management, planning, maintaining budgets and problem-solving skills.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for project schedule and managing on-site contractors associated with all scopes of work in a coordinated capacity.
  • Responsible for coordinating and running all activities with the construction of assigned projects.
  • Complete daily report and other project documents for records.
  • Schedule and coordinate all inspections as required.
  • Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings, 4 week look ahead schedules, Toolbox talks, for OSHA, and all other meetings needed to ensure a successful and safe project.
  • Be present on project as required for the success of the project.
  • Responsible for leading areas of assigned projects to success through meeting scheduled dates, project budgets, client relations, and overall excellence of project performance.
  • Responsible for project documentation and communication; Sub Change Orders, RFI’s, Submittals, Daily Reports, 4 week look ahead, Quality Control Checklist, Notice to Subcontractors, etc.
  • Responsible for coordinating and running all activities associated with the construction of the site and building.

 Education:

  • Associate’s degree (Preferred)

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Superintendent:  5 years commercial construction experience (Truck Stop Facilities preferred).
  • Strong knowledge and overall project direction is mandatory.
  • Must be a team player, who possesses excellent leadership skills and communicates well with senior management, office and subcontractors.
  • Manage successful relationships in regard to client management.
