As we continue to grow and expand our services, we are looking for an enthusiastic Compliance Clerk/HR Assistant to join our vibrant team. This role is pivotal in maintaining our compliance records, assisting with HR functions, and ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Monitoring: Keep a vigilant eye on vehicle and driver compliance, including licensing, registration, insurance, and inspections across all divisions.
- Driver Vetting: Perform and monitor comprehensive background checks, licensing, certifications, and educational qualifications for all drivers, ensuring they meet our stringent standards.
- Health and Safety: Manage drug and alcohol testing programs, including pre-employment screening and random testing, while maintaining meticulous records.
- Record Keeping: Efficiently compile, update, and maintain digital and paper files for employees, subcontractors, and consumers, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Driver Recruitment and Training: Assist in the recruitment, training, and certification processes for new and existing drivers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.
- Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit reports related to vehicle and driver compliance to relevant agencies, ensuring all regulatory obligations are met.
- Administrative Support: Provide backup support for the Billing Clerk and Front Desk, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative spirit.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Typing Proficiency: A minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and eager to learn proprietary software such as iCabbi and ProCredEx.
- Knowledgeable: Familiarity with drug and alcohol testing protocols and documentation is preferred.
- Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and effectively.
- Team Player: Someone who is collaborative, adaptable, and ready to contribute to our team's success.
