Steel Estimator

Richards Welding & Metal Fabrication is seeking a miscellaneous steel estimator with a moderate level of construction estimating experience. This position will be focused on creating takeoffs, sending detailed proposals, and communicating with general contractors. This position requires someone who has experience reading blueprints and is proficient with using software such as: Microsoft Office and PDF readers (Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, etc.,).

Requirements:

- 3 years Industry related experience.

- 3 Industry related references.

- Ability to work independently.

-Create clear definition of project scope with the customer using drawings, descriptions and project schedules -

-Coordinate and negotiate contracts

- Ability to manage multiple project bids.

- Strong communication skills.

- Be able to maintain good relationships with potential and current contractors.

Schedule:
7:00am-5:30 Monday-Thursday
