Position Overview: As a Semi Trailer Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our customers' semi trailers. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting inspections, diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all equipment meets safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and mechanics, coupled with a CDL-A license to support occasional driving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on semi trailers.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Conduct welding and fabrication as needed to repair trailer components.
  • Replace and repair brakes, tires, lights, and other parts as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with occasional driving and transportation tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a semi trailer technician or similar role.
  • Proficiency in welding and metal fabrication techniques.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
