Textile Production Manager - Manufacturing Seamstress

About the Role: The Lead Industrial Seamstress will manage a small team and be actively involved in the sewing, cutting, and layout of products. This role is crucial for scheduling jobs and managing the team to meet production goals. The position will be sewing high-temperature materials according to industry standards, customer specifications, and facility procedures. The sewing machine operators will handle heavier-than-usual materials (thick fabric for insulation blankets).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production process, including sewing, cutting, and layout of custom products.
  • Efficiently schedule jobs and manage team workflow to meet deadlines.
  • Interpret computer-aided designs and patterns to create high-quality products.
  • Train and mentor team members, promoting a culture of excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in industrial sewing and team management.
  • Ability to interpret computer-generated drawings and patterns.
  • Strong organizational skills with effective job scheduling and team management.
