Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician with experience in the bag-making and flim blowing process to join our team at a film bag manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the optimal operation of bag-making machines and related equipment through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, thus ensuring production efficiency and product quality.


Key Responsibilities:

1、Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on bag-making machines and associated equipment to ensure efficient production operations.

2、Respond promptly to urgent repair needs during production to minimize downtime.

3、Conduct preventive maintenance on bag-making equipment, monitoring the condition of machinery to prevent potential failures.

4、Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities, including logs, equipment usage, and parts replacement.

5、Adjust and fine-tune equipment according to production requirements, ensuring that the bag-making process meets product specifications and quality standards.

6、Assist with the installation, testing, and optimization of equipment, and propose and implement improvements to enhance machine efficiency.

7、Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure that machine operators are trained in proper operation techniques and basic troubleshooting steps.

8、Adhere strictly to factory safety procedures, ensuring compliance during all maintenance activities.

9、Participate in technical training to continuously improve maintenance skills and equipment knowledge.

10、Assist management in maintaining equipment inventory, ensuring that all tools and machinery are properly managed and maintained.


Qualifications:

1、High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field preferred.

2、At least 3 years of experience in machine maintenance, specifically in the bag-making process within the plastics or film manufacturing industry.

3、Strong knowledge of the mechanical structure, operating principles, and common troubleshooting methods for bag-making machines.

4、Ability to independently diagnose and repair equipment issues, with strong hands-on skills.

5、Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and the ability to develop and execute maintenance plans.

6、Strong team collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with machine operators and other maintenance staff.

7、Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.

8、Familiarity with factory safety procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety awareness.

9、Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shift work and overtime as needed.
