Pay Rate: $27.00 /hourly
Location: Stockton, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm
Job Description:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join a legal team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and research skills, as well as the ability to work independently and under pressure. As a Paralegal, you will assist attorneys in all stages of legal proceedings and perform a variety of tasks to support our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and subpoenas
• Assist with case management and maintain case files, while also building and filing appropriate documents together
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
• Organize and review documents for discovery and trial preparation

Qualifications:

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field (preferred)
• Previous experience as a Paralegal or in a legal support role
• Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documents
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in legal research databases
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Has the ability to fill out and turn in court mandated forms
• Knows how to speak to clients and the clerks at court
