Shift Times: Saturday and Sunday – 6pm to 6am

Length: Ongoing Contract

Pay Rate: $22/hr-$25/hr

Must Haves:

  • 2 years of experience in networking monitoring
  • Basic understanding of IT/Infrastructure/Networking terminology
  • Good customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively to help customers fix their issues.
  • Writing and editing skills to aid in ticket escalation, experience working in a network operations center or technical support help desk and writing and updating technical manuals.
  • Computer and networking repairs and troubleshooting problems.

Scope of Work:

Insight Global is looking to assist our client in building out their service desk team. The team we are building is responsible for supporting the routers, switches, and alarms for the entire enterprise. Candidates will be the working the night and weekend shifts in which their main responsibility is monitoring the network and alerts via email and voice. They will be proactively watching the system to investigate issues and make escalation decisions.

  • Monitoring of the OTS Enterprise Network Operation Center (NOC) alarms and dashboards and taking the initial response to all issues including but not limited to making a ticket, calling on-call resources, sending appropriate notifications, and escalating as appropriate.
  • Answering service desk calls including but not limited to making a ticket, performing basic and some advanced phone and remote support troubleshooting to resolve issues, and escalation to on-call resources as appropriate.
