Location: Lockeford, CA
Pay Rate: $31.00 /hourly
Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasional Saturdays (busy months) | 6:00am - 2:30pm
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair work, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Essential responsibilities:

• Demonstrate willingness to take direction and follows instructions.
• Adhere to schedule and maintains regular attendance at worksite. Works overtime as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, return all tools after use to proper storage location, and performs routine housekeeping (i.e.: cleaning, organizing).
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Identifies unsafe working conditions and notifies supervisor.
• Utilize a variety of tools, repairs and performs preventative maintenance to equipment throughout the plant and building as required by company guidelines.
• Inspect equipment to ensure it is in good working order; replaces damaged parts of equipment with new parts; orders parts and installs appropriate parts to machinery; welds parts to equipment during repairs or installations as needed. Assists with minor electrical repairs.
• Read and interpret written manuals or communicates with vendors as needed to ensure equipment is properly maintained or installed.
• Collect and discard worn machine parts; cleans machines and machine parts using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment; removes hardened material from machines or machine parts using abrasives, power and hand tools, sledgehammers, or other equipment; measures, mixes, prepares, and tests chemical solutions used to clean or repair machinery and equipment.

• Personal Protective Equipment
• Power Tools

Qualifications:

• Ability to utilize basic tools to perform routine maintenance
• Knowledge of Crane and Hydraulics maintenance
• Skilled with the use of tools and measurement devices

License and Professional Certs:

• Forklift Driving Cert- Preferred
