The Roll Label Inspector is responsible for inspection and sorting our Roll Label products to ensure top quality, providing great customer service in a clean, temperature controlled, manufacturing environment.

Major Duties:

  1. Sort and inspect product according to standard work.
  2. Package all products per standard work.
  3. Complete after-inspection functions as per operating procedure.
  4. Insert remakes in roll per standard work.
  5. Sort, inspect, and pack labels in an efficient and timely manner to assist Metalcraft in meeting customer needs.
  6. Produce quality work in an efficient and timely manner to assist Metalcraft in meeting customer needs.
  7. Develop and assist with implementing process improvements.

Special Job Characteristics:

  • Manual dexterity to handle small parts.
  • Adequate vision and focus to easily identify product defects.
  • Ability to concentrate for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet customer needs.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift 40 lbs.

Experience:

  • Manufacturing experience or mechanical aptitude desired
  • Good computer skills required.
  • Good math skills
  • Print reading experience is desirable.
