Tour Guide

Seeking self-motivated, athletic, enthusiastic, people-person to guide electric bike tours in and around Golden, Arvada, and Morrison for the summer/fall season. Our top priority is safety and customer service, providing memorable adventure experiences to all. Solid pay plus tips

OVERVIEW: As an E-bike tour guide for Adventure West, you'll spend your days outside enjoying the stunning views of the Front Range, while showing off our amazing history and environment. You'll lead ebike tours, interact with guests throughout the busy season, and play a key role in further developing our adventure tour business. Responsibilities include booking and conducting a variety of guided electric bicycle tours with groups of varying ages, backgrounds, and physical abilities. Experience working in tourism, hospitality or adventure sports preferred. 

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum high school degree required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and speak fluent English, possess basic mathematical skills, use scheduling software, and navigational apps. Must be able to effectively manage small and large groups, providing clear instructions, excellent customer service, and high energy for long periods of time. Must have the ability to work independently and as a team; interest in marketing, local history and natural science is also helpful, but we will train. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to ride E-bikes for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to maneuver 1.5-3 hour tours on paved and uneven terrain. Knowledge of bicycle safety, etiquette, and basic bicycle mechanics helpful, but will train.
