We are looking for someone to help lead and work alongside a crew of one to four people that has a positive attitude, can think on their feet, and has a PA driver's license. This position includes the opportunity to work afternoons and evenings. This position can be full or part time.

Preference is those with disabilities.  All apply please.

At a minimum the schedule would be:

M 10:30pm - 9pm

T 5P- 9P

W 12:30-1:30p & 5p-9p

Th 11a-2p & 5p-9p

Fr 12:30-1:30p & 5p-9p

 

 

This position requires the ability to fill out paperwork, write summaries of workday, track hours, track time, and assure completion of each job to the standards expected.  We will train.  We have a great group of people to work with and look forward to you joining our team.

Full Time positions have Health insurance offered; Part time do not offer health insurance (but you do get paid holidays and personal days).

Working at Quest, Inc. includes perks. Part Time employees enjoy being paid for holidays that land on your regularly scheduled workday. PT employees also enjoy two personal days after one year of service.

Essential Functions:

>Direct cleaning activities to include and encourage proper personal habits and social development as well as proper safety methods and procedures.

>Perform or assist with cleaning duties side by side with individuals in the program as necessary to complete the job.

>Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.

>Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner.

>Instruct people we support in work policies and procedures, and the use and maintenance of equipment.

>Issue supplies and equipment to workers.

>Check equipment to ensure it in in working order.

>Maintain accurate attendance, hours worked and performance records on people supported in the program.

>Investigate complaints about service and equipment and take corrective action.

>Inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available in adequate amounts.

>Be an active team member in the support of the people we serve to provide input for recommendations for further training or competitive employment.

>Recommend changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency.

>Assist with program related laundry and needed cleaning at our facility (Quest, Inc.).

>Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Part time position offers Holiday, Personal days, and snow days paid

Part time position offers 401K

 

Skills and Abilities:

>Education: High School Graduate or GED or Equivalent

>Experience: Preferable six month to one year in a position that shows leadership skills and abilities.

Basic Computer skills are a plus.

 

We have more than one opening for this position. One of those openings includes 5pm-9pm shifts. This schedule can be flexible with the right candidate. People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

 

Position Summary:

Provide specialized training to individuals enrolled in our janitorial skills program. Encourage interested participants to move beyond the program and pursue a competitive position in the custodial field within the community.

 

 

Certifications & Licenses:

  • Must hold a valid PA Driver's License with at least 3 years of clean driving experience, automobile insurance coverage and a safe driving record. Clear PA criminal history, PA child abuse, and FBI checks. A physical and a TB test must be provided. A clean drug test.
