Skills: offshore experience, CADWorx Structure 2018, Generate 3D Models, MS Excel, AutoCad, project management, some leadership ability, excellent communication skills, Civil Engineer, Structural Design, Structural, Civil, Oil & Gas, Oil, Leadership, Mentor, Offshore, OSHA Training, OSHA, Navisworks

Must have:

  • Oil & Gas background is a must
  • Minimum 7 years\' of experience
  • Experience in offshore oil & gas platforms, onshore gas processing, or refining industry
  • AutoCAD experience is required; CADWorx is a plus
  • Navisworks for design review
  • Must be comfortable leading and mentoring 2 to 3 other designers.
  • Must be willing to do some overtime as projects and workload requires.  The average work week is 44 hours.
  • Travel is in adjacent states and always brings them home on the weekend.  Most trips are 2 to 3 days.  Maybe offshore once a year.  20% of the time is travel. 
  • Must have worked offshore at some point and have the required OSHA training for offshore
  • Experience running small projects

 

Additional Information:

  • They are medium-sized company with growth opportunities. They value their employees. Many people have worked there 20+ years. Very stable. Current workload is growing.
  • There is no per diem. Typically, travel is short-term and only occasional. Expenses are simply reimbursed through expense reports.
