Day-to-day Responsibilities:

· Designs and models mechanical and electromechanical systems using 3D CAD software.

· Produces working drawings from models for manufacturing departments.

· Creates material lists related to machine and component designs.

· Modifies and revises designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.

· Develops mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements.

· Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.

· Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished product and system capabilities; and confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.

· Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.

· Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

· Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
