Our company is currently seeking ​an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records. 

1st Shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm w/ 1 hour lunch

Pay Rate: $20.50 an hour

The AR Clerks' job purpose is to secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts; resolving discrepancies

Responsibilities:

• Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
• Compute and record numerical data 
• Check the accuracy of business transactions
• Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries
• Prepares daily/weekly/monthly bank-required reports for line of credit.
• Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining, researching, and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and customers
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed, such as filing and filling in as receptionist
• Perform data entry and administrative duties 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong organizational skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
