Job DescriptionJob Description

Essential Duties – Order does not necessarily indicate duty importance.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Follow and ensure compliance to quality system and cGMP programs.
  • Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Facilitate month end close process.
  • Record general ledger journal entries.
  • Respond to management requests for information as necessary.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Perform G/L account reconciliations.
  • Post payroll to the general ledger and conduct reviews of payroll activity.
  • Perform financial statement analysis.
  • Provide financial information for other departments.
  • Prepare bank ACH/wire transfers.
  • Prepare support for annual financial statement audit and provides requested documentation as necessary.
  • Assist with creation, implementation, and documentation of internal controls and key processes.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments as required.
  • Participate on the Material Review Board as a representative from the Finance department.
  • Act as Purchasing Card Administrator for the Pcard program.
  • Assist in resolution of various Receivable and Payable issues as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Must have college degree.
  • 5 years of work experience.
  • Must have moderate math skills.
  • Moderate reading skills required.
  • Complex computer skills needed.
  • Must have moderate language skills.
  • Must have moderate writing skills.
  • Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures.
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or
    without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to self or others.
  • Maintain a regular and dependable work attendance record with few instances of unplanned and/or unexpected absence.
