We are seeking a dependable Shop Laborer with Maintenance Duties to support our operations. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks including general labor, maintenance, and housekeeping within our shop. This role requires a proactive individual who is able to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor tasks including loading/unloading materials, organizing inventory, and assisting with various shop activities.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with minor repairs and troubleshooting of shop tools and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area, including waste disposal and sanitation.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support shop staff with daily operations and special projects as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or needs for restocking.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a labor or maintenance role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
