Genesis Technical is seeking a Senior Process Controls Engineer for a long-term position in Mobile, AL.

  • This person will be working hands-on with all aspects of DCS systems (specifying, hardware layout, configuration, and graphics design) and should have experience generating system configuration from scratch.
  • The successful candidate will also be working on:
    • various sizes (50 IO to 5000 IO systems)
    • have field experience with the commissioning and startup phases of a project
    • working knowledge of field instrumentation including but not limited to IO design as it pertains to the field instruments and electrical connections to the automation system. 
    • instrument selection / installation, control system selection / configuration, commissioning and startup.
    • Remote I/O concepts from either Siemens or Emerson preferred (ie. CHARMS and/or ET200SP HA) 
  • Position requires some travel as it pertains to project workload. (ie. Site visits for project walk-downs, project construction phase, commissioning, and startup)
