Regulatory Specialist

We are seeking a Regulatory Specialist to join the team at a food manufacturing company. This role reports directly to the Regulatory Manager.

Responsibilities: 

The Regulatory Specialist is responsible for supporting both internal partners and external customers as it pertains to regulatory functionality. The role will help manage and prioritize customer needs and requests including specifications, questionnaires, labeling, kosher, nutritionals etc. The specialist will also work cross-functionally to support R&D and sales and will help ensure finished products meet all regulatory requirements.

Ideal Qualifications: 

• 2 years’ experience creating nutrition labels, ingredient statements, allergen statements, packaging compliance, etc.
• Experience in food Manufacuring space 
•  Associates/bachelor’s degree in nutrition, Food Science, Biology or related is preferred 
• Experience  fulfilling Customer requests, creating questionnaire’s, and reviewing documentation 
• Comfortable working independently and in a documentation heavy position
