Janitor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment throughout our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Clean and sanitize common areas.
2. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
3. Empty and clean trash containers.
4. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
5. Pick up trash on the grounds
6. Get units ready for new tenants and inspections
7. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good condition.
8. Notify management of any repairs or maintenance required.
9. Follow all health and safety regulations.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a janitor or cleaner preferred.
2. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
3. Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
4. Strong attention to detail.
5. Physical stamina and mobility (ability to lift and stand for long periods).
6. Must pass a background check.

Working Conditions:

The Janitor will primarily work indoors, but may be required to work outdoors for certain tasks. The role involves frequent bending, lifting, and standing. The Janitor may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and odors.
