Veterinary Technician

Pet Dental Clinic is a newer facility in Longmont, Colorado focused solely on dentistry and wellness. We operate 5 days/wk providing quality, affordable dentistry services for dogs, cats, and ferrets. We are a small team with a well-designed schedule and fee structure that promotes clear expectations for employees and clients.

We have all 5-star reviews for client satisfaction and have a high demand for the outstanding service and experience we provide. We are expanding hours and looking for exceptional veterinary technicians to join our team. We have morning shifts 8:00-4:00, afternoon shifts 12:00-7:00, and full-day shifts 8:00-7:00 available. 8:00-4:00 and 12:00-7:00 are our primary shifts available. Priority will be given to candidates willing to accept a rotation of the above shifts.

Each technician will see approximately 1-2 patients per day, be responsible for their care start to finish, and update the owners throughout the day. You will intake/discharge patients, educate clients on their pets' dental needs through photographs, charting, and radiography. You will keep records, collect blood samples, operate dental, anesthetic, radiographic, and in-house blood analyzer equipment, fill prescriptions, administer vaccinations, and discuss home dental care options with owners. Cleaning and reception duties will also be required. This position is for technicians who are passionate about dentistry, anesthesia, and providing excellent client care. Your daily schedule will be clearly outlined for you so that you can utilize your skills to the fullest.

A minimum or 2 days per week is required for employment. We prefer at least 2 years clinical experience but will consider less experience for the right candidate. Anesthesia and dental experience is a must.

New hire pay is $20-24/hr based on experience with periodic wage reviews to follow. You do not need to be credentialed to apply for this position, but you will need to demonstrate proficiency in technical skills to work within this role.
