Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Yoga Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in yoga practice, with expertise in Vinyasa Flow sequencing and alignment. As a Yoga Instructor, you will be responsible for leading dynamic and engaging yoga classes that cater to students of all levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead Vinyasa and other diverse yoga style classes that are safe, challenging, and accessible to students of all levels.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in the studio, fostering a sense of community among students.
  • Provide hands-on adjustments and modifications to help students deepen their practice and avoid injury.
  • Demonstrate proper alignment and technique, offering clear and concise instructions throughout each class.
  • Incorporate breathwork and mindfulness techniques into yoga sequences to promote relaxation and stress relief.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in yoga theory and practice, continuing education as needed to maintain certification.
  • Assist with studio maintenance and organization, including setting up props, cleaning mats, and ensuring a clean and safe practice space.
  • Promote classes and increase student attendance for bonus rate

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 200-hour yoga teacher training certification from a recognized yoga school.
  • Previous experience teaching Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Asana etc yoga classes, with a strong understanding of sequencing and alignment principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students on a personal level.
  • Passion for yoga and a commitment to ongoing personal practice and development.
  • CPR and first aid certification preferred.

Schedule:

  • Part-time position with flexible hours.
  • Classes scheduled 2 days per week, with potential for additional hours based on demand.
