Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive bookkeeping knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage their own time effectively. At BBSI Tax, we prioritize communication and technology to ensure our clients feel heard and supported.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients.
  • Categorize banking transactions and match payroll journal entries.
  • Verify and match transfers between accounts and credit card payments.
  • Serve as the main contact for the company, handling all incoming phone calls and client communications.
  • Conduct Zoom meetings, including intake calls to assess client fit.
  • Manage and complete tasks using bookkeeping software and applications such as QuickBooks and Taxdome.
  • Ensure all month-end tasks, including balance sheet reconciliation and sales tax calculations, are completed accurately and on time.
  • Provide exceptional support to clients through email, phone calls, and other communication channels.


Requirements:

  • 4+ years of QuickBooks experience.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing your task list and the associated deadlines
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other bookkeeping software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortable speaking with clients on Zoom and conducting intake assessments.
  • Ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly and concisely.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
