Job DescriptionJob Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be tasked with maintaining wire harness machinery, performing monthly calibration of applicator equipment, and maintaining tooling. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostics tests as necessary, perform preventive maintenance, repair machines and equipment as needed, deal with incoming work orders, and abide by company policies and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance: Cleans and lubricates machinery, performs preventive maintenance inspections, and oils and lubricates moving parts. Maintains electrical test equipment, repairs, and rewires as necessary.

  • Repairs: Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electronic equipment up to and including installing, modifying, and dismantling machines.

  • Diagnosis: Performs basic diagnostic tests checks to maintain machine performance, and tests damaged parts to determine if major repairs are needed.

  • Other duties: Records and reports damaged parts, maintains equipment part inventories, writes work instructions, and builds prototype wire harnesses. Performs all monthly calibration requirements.

Desired Skillset

  • Knowledge of test equipment such as Cable Eye

  • Strong working knowledge of wire harness design and build

  • Time management skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365

  • Problem-solving skills

Requirements

  • 2-4 years in the technical field or applicable job experience
