Job Description: Drive/VFD Commissioning Engineer

  • Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and drive systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in drive and automation systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on drive systems.
  • Prepare documentation, including test reports and manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Travel to client sites for commissioning and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of drive technology and industry trends.

  • Work in a shipyard on an oil drilling platform
  • Commissioning Vacon Drilling Drives
  • Siemens PLC programming
