We are seeking a skilled Warehouse (Distribution Centre) Associate to join our client’s team, one of the US’s largest Security companies.

 

Position Summary:
The DC Associate has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within warehouse. An integral part of the team, the DC Associate verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance, maintains complete and accurate paperwork, and operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner.

 

Primary responsibilities of the DC Associate include:

· Marks pallets with identifying store information

· Uses lift equipment (manual pallet jack for Worldpac or Forklift (Advance Auto will certify)) as needed once training and certification are completed

· Pick and stage parts for store replenishment

· Uses a hand-held radio frequency device (RF Scanner)

· Having prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required

· Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.

· Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using

· whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals


Dress Code:
Clean attire, including well fit waist high jeans (not baggy around the hips), clean shirt/sweatshirt with no logos or vulgar writing/images.
Physical requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team
member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable

functions. While performing the duties of this job, the team member:

· Is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and hear,

· Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50. Items heavier than 50lbs will be moved with assistance of Pallet Jack (WP) or Forklift (AAP)
