Pride Health is hiring Phlebotomist I to support our client’s medical facility based in Cutler Bay, FL

. This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization

Location: Cutler Bay FL 33157

Schedule: 1, M-F 6:30 am-2:30 pm Rotational Saturdays 6:30 am-10:30 am

Pay Range: $16-18.00 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume

 

Responsibilities:

Experience doing blood draws, labelling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.

Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.

Properly explains in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required.

Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.

Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.

Package specimens for transport.

Stores specimen sample according to required temperature, places samples in appropriate collection container/ tube, accurately labels, follows different procedures as outlined by specific to protocol deemed necessary for transport to maintain integrity of the specimen.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum 06months -1yr of phlebotomy experience is required.

 

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
