Summary

Warranty Administrator coordinates, resolves, and tracks all Warranty issues. Assists customers with basic troubleshooting and faulty part isolation. Provides general technical support for miscellaneous sales calls. Coordinates with external vendors and H+K engineering staff in order to efficiently satisfy customer requirements and equipment repairs.

Essential Functions

· Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)

· Strong verbal, phone and customer service skills a must have.

· Ability to work in a time sensitive environment.

· Primary contact for all warranty calls and issues.

· Works with external and internal clients in order to effectively satisfy requirements related to timeliness, quality, and cost of equipment repairs.

· Manage warranty and repair process from beginning to end, including initial analysis of problem, subsequent ordering of parts, and final shipment to client and/or vendor.

· Ensure that H+K has sufficient insurance information on any contractor prior to work being performed.

· Possess ability to independently make decisions in regards to logistical and shipping issues.

· Enter and maintain sales orders in IT systems for warranty service as required.

· Maintain internal log for all Warranty related calls.

· Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly warranty reports.

· Conduct weekly warranty meetings, follow up on open issues to ensure service completion.

· Provide general troubleshooting and fault isolation of mechanical, electrical and refrigeration systems.

· Ability to convey general test procedures of components and equipment.

· Ability to read and interrupt basic schematic diagrams and bill of materials.

· Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Knowledge Requirements

· Associates degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School, preferred.

· 3+ years related experience in a business/administrative environment.

· Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

· Experience with providing technical/troubleshooting support over the phone.
