Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Tree Climber/Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have intermediate to advanced experience (2+ years) in residential tree trimming and removal. This position offers a pay rate of $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience, and the opportunity to grow with the company as we seek to expand.

Responsibilities:

• Perform residential tree trimming and removal with a focus on safety and quality
• Operate tree care equipment, including chainsaws, ropes, and harnesses
• Climb trees using climbing gear and techniques to access and work in tree canopies
• Assess tree health and recommend appropriate action for maintenance or removal
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the team lead

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tree climbing, arboriculture, or a related field
• Proficient in the use of tree care equipment and climbing techniques
• Knowledge of tree health assessment and maintenance practices
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willing to submit to criminal background check
• Professional in appearance and actions
