Warren Door has been in business for almost 100 years and prides itself on outstanding service. We not only repair commercial doors, we also manufacture them. We also do commercial carpentry work, as needed/requested. At Warren Door, no job is too big or too small.

Our office is located in Niles, Ohio. We have an opening for a Project Expeditor. In this position you will meet with field technicians and/or the Vice President of Operations to put together bids for jobs as well as bill out completed jobs. You will get pricing for tools, equipment, and material for jobs and put it together to create a formal quote to send to our customers and potential customers. If accepted, you will then order any material needed that we do not stock on-site and order equipment rental for any equipment that we may not have and coordinate for its delivery.

Warren Door prides itself on getting our customers back up and running as soon as possible. In case of an emergency, we send technicians out immediately, in what we call "emergency repairs." In those instances, a customer will call you or the Vice President of Operations to inform of damage done. You will then coordinate with field crew to arrange for a crew to go out as soon as possible. This occasionally requires moving schedules around to accommodate for an emergency. Once on-site, the field technicians will call you and tell you any parts or material needed. You then communicate with the Shop Supervisor in order to have our Shop Supervisor arrange for the manufacture of parts immediately while our field crew typically waits for delivery on-site. If it is an item that Warren Door does not manufacture, you will either order the part someplace local and communicate with the Shop Manager about the need for pickup and delivery or inform the customer that it is something we are not able to manufacture or acquire locally and that we ordered the part and will be back as soon as possible.

You will collect and track Foreperson's Reports to ensure all hours and material on jobs are correctly billed. You will enter the information into our software system and send out pro forma invoices to obtain purchase orders from our customers that require purchase order numbers and do all final billing.

This job is based in the office and you will likely be spending 90% of the time in-office. This job is heavy on computer work. A company cell phone will be provided. 

Pay is dependent on experience. Commercial project expediting experience is helpful, but not required. Prior experience working at an office of a manufacturing facility is helpful, but not required. Please email resumes to kelly@warrendoor.com. No phone calls, please.
